Coming up on more than 30 years after "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" came out, the cast reunited on Josh Gad's YouTube series, "Reunited Apart."

Ahead of the episode, star of the film Jennifer Grey took to Instagram with some old cast photos to ramp up the nostalgia. The behind-the-scenes shots feature stars like Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara, Richard Edson, and filmmaker Josh Hughes.

"Life moves pretty fast. if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it," Jennifer Grey wrote alongside the photos, quoting the film.

Earlier in the week, Gad released a trailer for the highly anticipated "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and now, the episode is finally here.

Gad began by asking Broderick how he managed to land the titular role of the film. Broderick explains that he was in a play at the time when John Hughes contacted his agent. The rest is history.

Next, they brought Alan Ruck in, who hadn't seen Broderick in person in around 15 years, they reveal. Mia Sara chimes in saying it's been longer since she'd seen either of them.

They go on to talk about the choreography of the film, how they all got their respective roles, and what it was like to work on such an iconic movie.

The episode is rounded out with the additions of Cindy Pickett, Lyman Ward, Ben Stein, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Kenny Ortega.
