Matthew Perry’s “Friends” cast members have started giving lovely tributes to the late actor.
As a group, the cast has already released a statement together saying how “utterly devastated” they are by the loss of Perry in October.
Jennifer Aniston took to her Instagram with a long remembrance of Perry, writing “This one has cut deep… Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before.”
“We were always the 6 of us. This was a chosen family that forever changed the course of who we were and what our path was going to be,” she continued.
Courteney Cox, who played Perry’s onscreen wife on the hit sitcom, shared a touching tribute on her own Instagram.
“I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day. When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here’s one of my favorites,” she captioned the post, along with a video outtake from the “Friends” season four finale.
Matt LeBlanc, who played Perry’s best friend and roommate on the show, posted a photo slideshow of the pair along with a written post in memoriam.
“Matthew. It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life,” he captioned the images. “It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.”
Matthew Perry passed on Oct. 28, 2023.
