DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Recently released Cowboys WR Allen Hurns may be lining up his next move.Â
Hurns is healthy and is visiting the Dolphins today, according to Adam Schefter.
However, you can't count him completely out at The Star. The Cowboys are still interested in bringing him back as well, said Schefter.Â
Hurns was released by the Cowboys on Tuesday, days before the begining of training camp.Â
By cutting Hurns, the Cowboys will save $5 million and have plenty of receivers on the roster including Amari Cooper, Randall Cobb, Michael Gallup, Tavon Austin and Noah Brown.Â
Jalen Guyton, Cedrick Wilson, Devin Smith, Lance Lenoir Jr., Jon'Vea Johnson, and Reggie Davis make up the rest of the receivers on the Cowboys roster heading into camp this week.Â
Hurns' season ended after he suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the wild-card win over Seattle. He quickly underwent surgery and told the NFL Network in an interview shortly after the game that he'll "be good to go to start the 2019 season."Â
