FRISCO (105.3 THE FAN) - Dallas Cowboys longsnapper L.P. Ladouceur has been resigned to the team on a reported 1-year, $1 Mil deal.
Ladouceur, who turned 38 recently, is now in his 15th season with the Cowboys.
Because of the NFL’s Minimum Salary Benefit rule, it allows teams to sign veterans such as Ladouceur to a one-year deal but only a portion of his contract will count against the cap, according to DallasCowboys.com.
In Ladouceur’s case, he will earn over $1.2 million but his cap charge will be just over $725,000.
