DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks are escalating discussions to trade point guard Dennis Smith, Jr.
The Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic have had ongoing discussions about a possible trade with Dallas, according to ESPN.
Smith has sat out of the last three games with what the team says is a sore back. However, Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that there's motivaton in the organization to find him Smith a new home after he and coach Rick Carlisle haven't be able to get on the same page.
