Meanwhile, the team who traded Porzingis to the Mavericks is looking to get some star players to join their franchise. The New York Knicks have the cap room to acquire a star or two after they elected to move on from Porzingis, who's already a star.
And now today, former NBA bruiser Kendrick Perkins expressed his dislike for Porzingis.
"I've just never been high on a big man that's a diva. He's a diva to the max," Perkins said on ESPN's 'The Jump'. "I can name 20 guys right now that I would take over him in this league."
