MCKINNEY (105.3 THE FAN) - TMZ Sports released police body cam footage Monday morning showing former Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden passed out in a Whataburger drive-thru.

In the jarring video, police are seen knocking on the window of McFadden's vehicle while he was asleep at the wheel. At one point, McFadden's foot slipped off the pedal and his car went into the side of the restuarant.

Police eventually had to break his driver side window, waking him up in process. Officers then attempted to get McFadden out of the vehicle but he resisted, forcing them to draw a weapon and a taser on him so he would comply. McFadden was then taken into custody.

Police charged him with resisting arrest and a DWI with a BAC greater than or equal to .15. The legal limit in Texas is .08.

McFadden pleaded guilty in Feb. 2020 and was sentenced to four days in jail. He was also forced to pay fines and fees, and his driver's license was suspended for 90 days, TMZ Sports reports.

McFadden played college football at the University of Arkansas and was just inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in Dec. 2019. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2008 and played his final three seasons with the Cowboys before retiring after the 2017 season.
