DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Rangers manager Chris Woodward says Lance Lynn will be the club's opening day starter when the season resumes.
Woodward made the announcement in a press conference with the media Thursday. He added that the decision came down to Lynn and Mike Minor, whom he said both deserved it.
Lynn went 16-11 with a 3.67 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP in 2019, while Minor went 14-10 with a 3.59 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP.
MLB is expected to release a schedule in the coming days.
