Thomas has spent the last two seasons in Dallas, playing all three linebacker positions and proving himself to be a key member of the special teams unit.

Thomas played in 25 games for Dallas over that time, amassing 47 total tackles, one tackle for loss, and a forced fumble.

Before coming to Dallas, Thomas spent four years with the Green Bay Packers under new Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy and is now reunited with his former coach in Arlington.
