DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Earlier today, a video circulated of NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport saying the Cowboys would be 'in the mix' for free agent safety Eric Berry when he plans to sign a contract around training camp.
105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher, however, says that isn't the case.
"RapSheet (Rapoport) has compelling thoughts on future of Eric Berry; a HEALTHY Berry can surely help somebody. But two #Cowboys sources tell me they have no real interest in the former All-Pro safety," Fish said in a tweet.
Berry visited the Cowboys back in March after he was released from the Kansas City Chiefs, but the five-time Pro Bowler departed The Star without a deal.
A few days later, the team elected to sign former Minnesota Vikings safety, George Iloka, to a one-year deal.
