DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys have added another member to their new staff, hiring Texas A&M cornerbacks coach, Maurice Linguist, to coach the secondary.
The hiring was first reported by Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports.

— Pete Thamel (@PeteThamel) January 12, 2020Linguist comes in to replace former Cowboys secondary coach Kris Richard, whose contract was not renewed by the Cowboys following their change at head coach.
As one of the most promising up and coming coaching in the SEC, Linguist is a native of Mesquite Texas and played his college football at Baylor University.
Before moving to the Cowboys, Linguist had four years of Power five coaching experience, including stops at Texas A&M, Minnesota, Mississippi State, Iowa State, Baylor, and Buffalo.
Linguist also has experience as a defensive passing game coordinator, serving that role in his stops at both Iowa State and Buffalo.
