Cowboys WR Randall Cobb Talks Dak Prescott, Aaron Rodgers, His Injury History, & More With Shan & RJ

OXNARD (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys receiver Randall Cobb joined Shan and RJ at training camp in Oxnard Friday morning.

Cobb was asked about the team's offense, his thoughts on Dak Prescott, his past injuries, and more.

Here are some of the highlights:

On Dak compared to his former quarterback Aaron Rodgers: "I love Dak. Everyone wants to compare and I've never understood comparisons because when you have two elite players why can't you just accept them for who they are, and accept what they do really well," Cobb said. "Since I've been here with Dak ... he has a great arm ... great arm strength. He's played really well since I've been here. So, everything I've seen from OTAs through training camp so far ... some of the throws he's made, he's putting it on the money. I know he's worked a lot on his footwork this offseason. I've seen him with Jon Kitna ... Kitna's done a great job with him. He's a bigtime competitor ... he wants to be the best player and you see that added to the approach he takes to the game."

On his injury history: "Obviously, the most important ability is availability. Unfortunately, I have had some injuries. I've tried to change up how I eat, I try to change up some of the things I do with my body," Cobb said. "At the end of the day, you go out and play ball and you hope that none of those things happen. That's part of the game and you try and stay away from it as best you can. But I hope I can play 16 (games). I hope I can give 16 plus whatever the playoffs bring for us. That's my plan and hopefully, we can see it through."
