DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett began his press conference Wednesday at The Star with some injury news as the team begins preparations for this weekend's key matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Garrett says quarterback Dak Prescott underwent an MRI on his right throwing shoulder but the results came back clean after he injured it during the first half of the win over the Rams. Garrett says Prescott's shoulder is "hard for him to function right now" and will limit his throwing in practice this week.

— KristiCowboySideline (@KristiCowboy) December 18, 2019When asked if there was any concern about all of the ailments his quarterback is dealing with, Garrett said, "not really, he's a pretty tough individual and he'll be ready to go." Garrett added that Prescott's wrist and finger injury "seem like they are doing fine."
Garrett also revealed starting left tackle Tyron Smith can't open his right eye and will miss practice Wednesday. He says the situation isn't injury-related.
