DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - It's never a good thing when a player is added to the injury report mid-week, but that's exactly what happened Thursday as Cowboys receiver Randall Cobb was unable to practice with a back injury.

October 10, 2019 It's unknown how serious Cobb's injury is. He was also listed on the practice report with a hip injury.
Offensive tackles La'el Collins and Tyron Smith continued to be held out of practice Thursday, but head coach Jason Garrett said the hope is that they can return to practice Friday and play against the New York Jets on Sunday.

October 10, 2019 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher reports that he expects Smith to play but that the team might play it safe and hold out Collins this week.
Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch was also held out of today's practice as he continued to get over an illness. Fish reports that Vander Esch was at The Star today getting work in and the team believes he'll return to practice Friday.
A positive sign for Dallas came in the form of defensive tackle Antwaun Woods was upgraded to full in practice Thursday after being listed as limited on Wednesday. Woods has missed the last four games with a knee injury.
