Head coach Rick Carlisle told the media after practice Tuesday that Smith has a stomach bug and went to see a doctor. He's listed as questionable for tomorrow night's game against the San Antonio Spurs.
"I expected that he was going to be at practice today but then he got sick. I spoke to his agent this morning. My expectation is that when is back is feeling good and he's feeling well from an illness standpoint that he'll be back practicing and playing," Carlisle said via 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher.

We all got to come in here as professionals and play and coach regardless. That's how I feel about it. ... (I'm) just waiting for him to feel better," Carlisle said with a shoulder shrug.
