DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - 105.3 The Fan's Jared Sandler caught up with Rangers catching prospect Sam Huff after he was promoted from Low-A Hickory to High-A Down East.
Huff was obliterating the baseball with Hickory, hitting .333 with 15 home runs and 29 RBI in only 108 at-bats.
So far with Down East, Huff is hitting .280 with no home runs and 2 RBI in 25 at-bats.
The Rangers selected Huff out of a Phoenix-area high school in the 7th round of the 2016 draft.
According to mlb.com, he's the club's 23rd best prospect.
