DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The health of two of the Dallas Cowboys key players is a major talking point heading into Sunday night's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Team owner Jerry Jones was asked about wide receiver Amari Cooper and linebacker Leighton Vander Esch's health during his appearance with the K&C Masterpiece Friday on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones says he expects Vander Esch to play Sunday after missing last week's game against the New York Giants with a neck issue.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett informed the media today, including 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher, that the second-year pro will participate on some level today's practice.

Meanwhile, Vander Esch's replacement in last week's win, veteran Sean Lee, will miss practice Friday (maintenance) but should be good to go Sunday.

When it comes to Cooper and his injured knee, Jones said the wideout has "a total clean bill of health if we were drafting him or signing him tonight."

Cooper underwent an MRI on his bruised knee Wednesday and told reporters Thursday that the injury was "manageable." He'll return to practice Friday and plans to play against Minnesota.
