Jerry Jones On Colin Kaepernick Workout: 'We're Not Going To Be There'

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones says the team will not be represented at Colin Kaepernick's workout this weekend in Atlanta, despite multiple team sources saying otherwise this week.

"We’re not gonna have anybody there. We’ll look at the tape if we need any information there. We really like where we are with our quarterbacks," Jones said on the K&C Masterpiece on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones was then asked if he was happy Kaepernick was getting an opportunity to get back in the league. Jones answered it by saying he agrees the NFL does a good job of giving free agents an opportunity to join a team.

On Wednesday morning, two high-placed #Cowboys sources told me team would be attending #Kaepernick workout. Just now, however, owner Jerry Jones indicated on @1053thefan change of mind. 'We’re not going to have anybody there. We’ll look at the tape if we need any information.'

Two high-placed sources informed 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher earlier this week that the Cowboys would be in attendance. So, it appears the team changed their mind.
