DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - A long-term deal for Dak Prescott has been "imminent" from the Dallas Cowbys front office, for several weeks now.

But how much money is left from Jerry's pie? “It’s pretty obvious we’ve got a lot of talent on this team. We don't have enough money to go around" said Jones.

Talking with The Fan's Shan & RJ, Jones said, "I think we are fast approaching an agreement," but added that is his opinion and may not be the opinion of Prescott.

When asked what 'imminent' means to him, Jones said "It means ready to take place. Close. Near. About to happen. Those types of things."

Looking back at the success the Cowboys had against the division rival NY Giants, Jones spread around the good will.

"I want to give some kudos to Jason Garrett and not because I'm concerned with him not mentioned with Kellen Moore" said Jones. "Jason's put this coaching staff together and he put this mix of young players that we've got."

When asked about Moore's contibutions: "There's not a step, there's not a position, there's nothing that you can do on a football field that hasn't been done. Nothing. When you think of the years and years and years. It's combinations. It's timing. It's when you use them" said Jones.
