The forward received criticism after the Knicks traded him to the Mavericks in Jan. 2019. Former NBA big man Kendrick Perkins was one of those people who were critical of Porzingis.
Perkins wasn't done there, however, as he went after the Mavericks big man again Thursday on 'Scal and Pals' for his slow start to the season.
"Let's stop with the knee b***s***. I tore my ACL and I came back in seven months. This guy had 20 months to rehab," Perkins said of people giving Porzingis a pass because he's coming back from a torn ACL. "I didn't have much basketball (on-court work during his rehab). It's about your heart. It's about having the balls. We're close to 15 games into the season, how long is it going to take him? 50?"
