Luka Dončić And Kristaps Porzingis Both Named To NBA All-Seeding Games Team

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Following the conclusion of the NBA Bubble schedule, Dallas Mavericks Stars Luka Dončić and Kristaps Porzingis were each named to the NBA's all-seeding teams, the team announced on Saturday. 

Dončić, who averaged 30 points, 10.1 rebounds and 9.7 assists per game in Orlando, was a unanimous first-team selection and finished 6th in the league in scoring average in bubble play. 

Dončić also became the youngest player in NBA history to record a 30-point, 20-rebound, 10-assist game in a 114-110 overtime win at Sacramento on August 4th, scoring 34 points, grabbing a career-high 20 boards, and dealing out 12 assists.

The 21-year-old also became the youngest player in NBA history to lead the league in triple-doubles this season, racking up 17 for the year. 

Porzingis was named Second-Team All-Seeding ranked tied for fourth in the bubble in scoring with 30.5 points per game, and tied for 10th in rebounding, grabbing 9.5 rebounds per contest. 

The 25-year old, scored at least 30 points in four of his six seeding games, including scoring a season-high 39 points and securing 16 rebounds against Houston in the bubble opener. 

Together, Dončić and Porzingis finished as the only pair of teammates to average 30 points per game or more in the Orlando bubble. 

The Mavericks will begin their first playoff appearance since the 2015-16 season on Monday, where they will take on Kawai Leonard, Paul George and the second-seeded L.A. Clippers on ABC. The Mavericks enter the 2020 postseason as the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference and will face the second-seeded L.A. Clippers in the first round beginning on Monday.
