DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys will not bring back offensive line coach Marc Colombo, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.

As first reported by @Toddarcher, Marc Colombo not expected back as OL coach. Watch for Joe Philbin as candidate for the following roles: OL/Run coordinator/asst HC. #Cowboys

105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher confirmed the report Wednesday.

The valued-by-Joneses Marc Colombo not being a part of this #Cowboys staff is the most powerful sign yet that McCarthy is truly picking his own guys ... close to a 25-year first around here.

Fisher confirmed Archer's report that Joe Philbin is expected to join the Cowboys staff as the offensive line coach, and added that Philbin is also slated to be named as the assistant head coach.

Philbin was the offensive line coach for the Green Bay Packers under Mike McCarthy, as well as for the Indianapolis Colts, and was previously the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2012-2015.

This is a developing news story.
