January 8, 2020 Fisher confirmed Archer's report that Joe Philbin is expected to join the Cowboys staff as the offensive line coach, and added that Philbin is also slated to be named as the assistant head coach.
Philbin was the offensive line coach for the Green Bay Packers under Mike McCarthy, as well as for the Indianapolis Colts, and was previously the head coach of the Miami Dolphins from 2012-2015.
