DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says don't be concerned if you haven't heard any rumors connecting the top free agents to the Mavericks.
Cuban was asked at Dirk's Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game last Friday why there's no talk of any of the top targets ending up with Dallas with two rising stars in Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis already on the roster?
"All I know is that the agents are talking to us and that's what matters," Cuban said to Ben Rogers of 105.3 The Fan, via Troy Hughes.

— -------- ------------ ™️ (@TommySledge) June 8, 2019The Mavericks have been connected to Charlotte point guard Kemba Walker, but the likes of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Iring, Klay Thompson, and the other big name free agents have only been connected to teams based in New York and Los Angeles. But that doesn't mean the Mavericks aren't in play, as Cuban points out.
"We don't care what the media says. 99 percent of the time, in particular with us, the media is wrong. And agents know if you're talking to us ... we don't talk," Cuban said. "And they know if you're gonna talk to us, we're not going to do a deal with you if you're just going to spread rumors. So, it's not unusual for things to be quiet with the Mavericks. That's exactly the way we plan it."
Free agency is set to begin on June 30.
