DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Rangers general manager Jon Daniels says Mike Minor will start tonight and have his start pushed back to Sunday, making him unavailable to pitch in the All-Star game next week. Minor will still attend the festivities in Cleveland, the club says.
Minor would have started in yesterday's game but it was postponed due to the death of Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs. The left-hander had suggested recently that he may not pitch in the game to get prepared for the second half of the season, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reported.

Minor's selection to the All-Star team was a no-brainer as he's been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. He leads the AL with a 2.40 ERA.
