Heineman was activated off the injured list on July 3 after missing the entire year with shoulder issues.
In 129 at-bats with Triple-A Nashville, Heineman is hitting .372 with six home runs and 18 RBI.
The Rangers selected Heineman in the 11th round of the 2015 draft out of Oregon.
