DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - As the Texas Rangers continue their free agency shopping this winter, they continue to gauge the trade market for ways to improve the roster.

The Rangers are looking to see if they can move one of their extra left-handed hitting outfielders: Nomar Mazara, Willie Calhoun or Shin-Soo Choo... Arizona could be a trade partner... they are looking for outfield help.

It's no secret that the Rangers have a log jam at the corner outfield positions with their plethora of left-handed hitters, and according to T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com, Texas is looking to deal one of Willie Calhoun, Shin-Soo Choo or Nomar Mazara to help the club's lineup become more balanced, and the defense to become more versatile.

Sullivan notes the Arizona Diamondbacks are looking for outfield help and could be one of the teams Texas could make a swap with. The St. Louis Cardinals are also interested in acquiring a left-handed hitting outfielder.
Texas addressed their rotation needs this offseason by signing Kyle Gibson and Jordan Lyles, and they remain interested in third basemen Anthony Rendon and Josh Donaldson.
