Rangers Manager Chris Woodward On Mike Minor's Struggles: 'We're Not Going To Abandon Ship'

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Rangers manager Chris Woodward joined the K&C Masterpiece for his weekly interview on Wednesday afternoon.

Here are some of the highlights:

On Mike Minor's struggles:

"He says he feels pretty much back to normal. Pitches aren't coming out of his hand the way he normally likes them to. Obviously, as a result, the location is a little off, and guys are hitting his pitches. He just needs to keep fighting through it. There's something that needs to click ... we need him to be good to have a chance at this thing. Hopefully, the next time around he'll get started in a good direction.

Would the club consider moving him out of the rotation if he continues to struggle?

"I wouldn't go as far as saying we're going to make a change. I think it's a lot on him to figure some things out, and I know he is. Mike is a perfectionist ... he's gonna keep fighting. We gotta ride him out as long as we possibly can. As good as he was for us last year and the year before, he's a big part of us moving forward, so we're definitely not going to abandon ship.

Woodward also talked about Rougned Odor's recent play and much more. Listen to the audio below.
