DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Rangers placed outfielder Willie Calhoun on the 10-day injured list with a quad injury ahead of their series finale against the Seattle Mariners this afternoon at Globe Life Park.

The Rangers have recalled Delino Deshields to take Calhoun's place.

Calhoun left last night's game after six innings with tightness in his left quad.

Calhoun has been scorching hot at the plate after being called up for Elvis Andrus (hamstring) just one week ago. He hit .435 across six games, including two home runs an seven RBI.
