ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - As the Rangers' new ballpark continues to progress towards completion, a few current players took to the field to take some batting practice.

Joey Gallo, Willie Calhoun, Delino Deshields and Jose Trevino were among the players to take part in blasting balls into the Globe Life Field (incomplete) seats.

Seating capacity is approximately 40,000 for the stadium, which will open in March 2020.
The first regular-season home game is set for March 31 against the Los Angeles Angels.
