
DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Stars are expected to sign veteran forward Joe Pavelski to a three-year deal, Darren Dreger reports. The deal with pay him $7 million per year, according to David Pagnotta.
Pavelski, who scored 38 goals last season as the captain for the San Jose Sharks, will turn 35 on July 11. Despite his age, he's been very durable throughout his career, missing just eight games in the last six seasons.
The Stars were lacking in the scoring department last season behind Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov. The trio were the only ones to score at least 20 goals. With Jason Spezza
Dallas may not stop there, however, as Dreger reports that the Stars are in on former Anaheim Ducks foe, Corey Perry.
