DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Mavericks All-Star guard Luka Donic could miss two weeks after MRI results revealed he suffered a "manageable ankle sprain."
No definitive recovery time frame yet on the Maverics' Luka Doncic, but one source briefed on his condition described Thursday's injury in practice as a "manageable ankle sprain." Doncic missed four games in December with a similar injury

I'm told that MRI on Doncic revealed the Mavericks' hoped-for best-case scenario: A moderate sprain, similar to the one he suffered in mid-December, causing him to miss four games. One source estimates this time, "two weeks, give or take."
— Brad Townsend (@townbrad) January 31, 2020Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News reported Friday that the team originally feared the injury could be worse than the one he suffered in December when he missed four games. The results brought "relief" to the team, Townsend added.
Although two sources yesterday compared Doncic's injury to the one he suffered in December, another source told me earlier today that when Doncic went down, "it looked a little worse" than the last one. Much relief in Mavsland right now. https://t.co/r6AuOEDTZF
