Report: NBA Considering Taking Hiatus Due To Coronavirus

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The NBA is mulling their options when it comes to their response to the coronavirus outbreak, and one of them includes taking a hiatus for a period of time, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Wednesday. 

Reporting with @ZachLowe_NBA: Consensus among owners on Board of Governors call with league office was either continue season with no fans in arenas -- or have NBA take a hiatus for a period time. NBA is expected to have a decision as soon as Thursday on next steps.

This report comes after team owners held a Board of Governors call with the league office.

Wojnarowski adds that, while a hiatus was discussed, the consensus among teams was to continue playing games without fans in the arenas.
