December 12, 2019 It has been reported that Donaldson is seeking a four-year deal and the Rangers preference is to offer him a three-year pact.
Ken Rosenthal reports that the 34-year-old “is seeking the largest possible guarantee," and all things being equal, his preference is to return to the Atlanta Braves.
The Dodgers, Twins and Nationals are among his other suitors.
It's unknown where the Rangers turn to from here.
