Report: Rangers Release 37 Minor Leaguers

DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - With the minor league seasons in doubt in 2020, the Texas Rangers have elected to release 37 players on minor league contracts, according to multiple reports.

Among the players to be released were pitchers Austin Bibens-Dirkx, Brandon Mann and Nick Gardewine, all of whom pitched for the club in 2018, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reported Monday afternoon. 

Also let go were right-handed pitchers Arturo Reyes and Taylor Jungmann, and outfielder Eric Jenkins.
