DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - Dallas Cowboys safety Xavier Woods could miss 4-6 weeks due to a high-ankle sprain, according to reports.

Woods was hurt on the final series in the Cowobys win over the Redskins on Sunday. NFL.com's Tom Pelissero said Woods could miss 4-6 weeks.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones tells The Fan's Shan & RJ show that Woods' injury could be 'serious' but that "only the guy up stairs really knows how much time he'll miss."

"He will be evaluated as the week goes along" said Jones. "He's young, he might be able to move on it."
