DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys COO Stephen Jones doesn't believe any player available on the trade market would entice them to include a first-round pick in a trade.
"I think we've shown we would if it was the right player," Jones said, pointing to the trade they made for Amari Cooper last season. "I can't say that there's any one right now that we're looking at on any team that would warrant a first-round pick that we think might be available."
It's interesting as there is one particular player the Cowboys could use in the secondary that reportedly is on the trading block, and that is Miami Dolphins safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Armando Salguero adds that the Dolphins "are certain" that they're going to get a first-round pick in return for Fitzpatrick. Which might be why Jones made those comments today on 105.3 The Fan.
