DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Texas Rangers unveiled the 24 members of the Globe Life Park Era All-Time Team on Tuesday as the team is just a month away from playing their final game in the stadium they've called home for the last 25 years.
The players were voted on in a poll conducted by the Dallas Morning News in July. Fans were permitted to select two players from each position with six outfielders being picked. On the pitching side, two righthanded and two lefthanded starters, as well as one closer, are being honored. And for the final place on the team, the Morning News included candidates from various positions to be the "Fans' Choice" selection.
The players will be honored on the field following the club's season finale at Globe Life Park against the New York Yankees on Sept. 29.
