ATLANTA (105.3 The Fan) - Former quarterback Tony Romo believes the Cowboys offense will be virtually the same next season despite the team having moved on from offensive coordinator Scott Linehan in the offseason, David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Romo made the comments at a press conference Tuesday in Atlanta, the site of the Super Bowl.
"I honestly don't know how it will play out. I think it will be interesting to see what they morph into. In a lot of ways, I think they'll probably stay pretty similar because the HC is there & it's still probably going to be his verbiage," Romo said when asked about Kellen Moore possibly being the Cowboys next offensive coordinator.
Dallas has yet to make any coaching positions official despite adding former quarterback Jon Kitna to the staff. Kitna is expected to be named the quarterbacks coach, with Moore moving to OC.
