October 17, 2019 The Renegades, a part of the Vince McMahon-owned XFL re-boot, will play their home games at the Texas Rangers former ballpark and will not move over to the brand new Globe Life Field.

October 17, 2019 Former Oklahoma Sooner coach Bob Stoops was officially named as the head coach and General Manager of the team earlier this year.
Stoops was the head coach at Oklahoma for 18 years before stepping away for successor Lincoln Riley.
At his time in Oklahoma, Stoops was 190-48 with 10 Big 12 Championships and 1 National Title. He was also a 2-time recipient of the Walter Camp Coach of the Year award and won AP Coach of the year once.
Landry Jones, one of the quarterbacks under Stoops for his run with the Sooners, will start at quarterback for the Renegades.
