DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - The list of compensatory picks awarded to teams for the 2019 NFL draft was announced Friday afternoon.
The Dallas Cowboys are in the fourth round for the draft, which will take place April 25-27 in Nashville. They were also given an extra pick. 32 compensatory picks were given to a total of 15 teams Friday.
Collective Bargaining Agreement says that compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lose more and/or better free agents than they gain during the respective signing period. The league then uses a formula to award compensatory picks between the third and seventh rounds.
