FORT WORTH (105.3 THE FAN) - The Tarrant County Medical examiner has ruled that Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died from an
accidental overdose, due to a mix of fentanyl and oxycodone, which was exacerbated by alcohol.

August 30, 2019 Southlake police found the 27-year-old pitcher unresponsive, inside a Hilton hotel room in July, while the team was in town to face the Rangers.
The first game of the four game series was postponed.
Police said they didn’t suspect foul play and also ruled out suicide. In a statement, the police say the investigation continues.
