Rangers Will Retire Adrian Beltre's Number This Summer

ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - The Texas Rangers announced Friday night that Adrian Beltre's number 29 will be retired this summer. 

Former teammate Michael Young ended the club's winter banquet Friday night by announcing Beltre's number will be retired in June. There is no set date yet.

Beltre retired in November after a 21-year career in the major league, and after spending the last eight years with the Rangers.

Beltre will join Nolan Ryan, Johnny Oates, Ivan Rodriguez and Jackie Robinson with retired numbers.
