DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys are signing defensive end Christian Covington to a one-year deal, according to Adam Caplan.

Covington, 25, spent last the first four seasons of his career with the Houston Texans after they selected him in the sixth round of the 2015 draft out of Rice.
The Vancouver, Canada native had 3.5 sacks and 15 combined tackles in 12 games last season, including two starts.
The Cowboys also re-signed receiver Tavon Austin on Thursday.
