DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Free agent safety Earl Thomas is asking for at least $14 million per year on the open market, according to NFL Network reporter Jane Slater.

— Jane Slater (@SlaterNFL) March 11, 2019On Twitter Monday, the first day teams can legally negotiate with free agents, Slater reported that Thomas wants to beat Eric Berry's contract number which pays the Chiefs safety an average of $13 million per year. Berry signed for $78 million over six years with $40 million of it being guaranteed in 2017.
In her report earlier this morning on the NFL Network, Slater said Thomas was rumored to want a two-year, $30 million deal.

Fish agrees the Cowboys would want the former Longhorn for two years but not at that price.
