Report: Ex-Texans Safety Tyrann Mathieu Agrees To 3-Year, $42M Contract With Chiefs

DALLAS (105.3 THE FAN) - The Kansas City Chiefs and safety Tyrann Mathieu reportedly agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal Monday evening. 

Mathieu had a one-year deal with the Houston Texans in 2018, and the decision to part with him was likely financial, with a $7 million deal. 

Prior to the Texans, Mathieu spent his first five years in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals.
