DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Former Mavericks forward Harrison Barnes will decline the $25.1 million option on his contract next season with the Sacramento Kings, Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes is declining his $25.1M player option and becoming an unrestricted free agent, his agent, Jeff Schwartz of Excel Sports, tells ESPN. Barnes, 27, and Kings are open to exploring a new deal together this summer, sources said.

June 18, 2019 Dallas traded Barnes to the Kings in exchange for Zach Randolph and Justin Jackson in a move designed to open up cap space for the Mavs to spend this offseason.
Would Dallas have an interest in a return for Barnes? We'd guess it's unlikely, as it appears he'll be seeking a max contract on the open market.
The Mavericks do, however, have an interest in Charlotte Hornets point guard
Kemba Walker, and they will be one of five teams to meet with Los Angeles Clippers pesky defender Patrick Beverley,
Mike Fisher reports.
