DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys would like to upgrade their safety position this offseason but it appears they won't be bringing in one of the top safeties available on the free agent market.
Source close the @weddlesbeard situation tells me that as Weddle fields bids and narrows choices, #Cowboys are 'not in' on the free agent safety. pic.twitter.com/uaqjuZNL7K

March 8, 2019 According to a source, Dallas is not among the teams that are in on veteran Eric Weddle.
The 34-year-old Weddle started in every game the last three seasons for the Ravens after spending the first nine years of his career with the San Diego (now Los Angeles) Chargers.
The move will reportedly save the Ravens $7.5 million in salary cap space for 2019. Weddle was set to earn $9.25 million on the last year of his four-year contract, per Spotrac.
Earl Thomas, Landon Collins and Tyrann Mathieu are the other top safety options on the open market.
