Stars Meet With Sharks' Free Agent Joe Pavelski

Joe Pavelski, who scored 38 goals last season as the captain for the San Jose Sharks, visited with the Stars on Thursday, according to The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun.

The Stars were lacking in the scoring department last season behind Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin and Alexander Radulov. The trio were the only ones to score at least 20 goals. With Jason Spezza 

Dallas has around $11 million in salary cap space, according to Cap Friendly. Pavelski, 34, is also reportedly considering a return to San Jose, and the Tampa Bay Lightning.
