FRISCO (105.3 The Fan) - DeMarcus "Tank" Lawrence arrived at the team's headquarters at The Star relieved that his contract situation had been resolved.
"It was stressful. I’m happy to get it done and to get to work with the Cowboys," Lawrence told 105.3 The Fan's Mike Fisher ahead of the press conference to announce the deal this afternoon.
During the presser, Lawrence said expected to be ready for the season after he undergoes a procedure on his shoulder Wednesday, which typically had a four-six month recovery time.
"I'll definitely be ready for the start of the season,'' said Lawrence, as he and the Cowboys made the five-year, $105 million deal he agreed to last week official. "I ain't worrying about that. It's just about getting it done and over with. That's all it is."
