The Fan hosts give some insights and possible picks by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2019 NFL Draft.
With the 58th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, I’m hoping the Dallas Cowboys take safety Juan Thornhill, from Virginia.
Their needs, beyond replacing Jeff Heath in the starting line up, are not really urgent short term needs about the 2019 season.
Jaylon Ferguson/DL should be the Cowboys pick at #58
I think the Cowboys will look to beef up their secondary after that and if the right RB is there they’ll jump on that.
Since everybody is likely giving you a pretty strong candidate for who they should take first, I’m throwing out my dream.
Trade everything for Ed Oliver, Defensive Tackle.
This would be equivalent to the Ricky Williams trade, but also comparable to the Cowboys 2009 Draft. Essentially a bunch of wasted picks. But you’d get a stud for all of the picks instead.
In Round 2, the Cowboys should pick Juan Thornhill, Safety, our of Virginia.
If you look at a position where you are most likely to pick up a starter - this is it!
I don't know that the rest of the NFL entered today knowing exactly what the Cardinals are going to do at No. 1 overall, with QB Kyler Murray available and QB Josh Rosen on the roster. I just know the poison that can seep into a building when a team keeps two high-pick QB kids around at the same time. Right, Troy Aikman and Steve Walsh?
I think the Dallas Cowboys will pick Juan Thornhill, Safety from Virginia at #58.
In the 3rd round I think they'll pick Trysten Hill, Defensive Tackle from Central Florida
